Crème Lavante and uKirke invite you to the inaugural act of Liturgia Elektronica, a series of audiovisual concerts dedicated to live electronic music and computer graphics

In the dark hours of December 8th, uKirke will come alive for a night of musical and visual liturgy, a holistic and spiritual sensory journey, leaning into the ancient traditions and rituals of the church room and timeless language of music.

Transcending their architectural confines, uKirke’s aisles, towering ceilings, and vast spaces will be transformed into a mesmerizing symphony of auditory and visual delights.

The sounds of Automata Non Grata, Julie Østengaard, and sús will pervade the sacred surroundings with a diverse tapestry of musical expressions, while the very fabric of uKirke will mirror Sillou8’s enchanting visuals.

The interactive station, brought to life by the dedicated volunteers of uKirke, will actively engage the audience and encourage them to help co-create the night.

Join us in this profoundly sensory experience that will go beyond the ordinary!

We’re Crème Lavante, a Copenhagen-based live electronic music duo. Forget about organ music, hymnals and Sunday services. Instead of what you normally associate with church, we have music, communal dining, debates, poetry readings, book clubs and much more. All with life and faith in focus.

Our large team of young volunteers is the creative force behind our activities. Everything we do is created together with them, so we can be sure that the church makes sense for you and other young people. We believe that community is necessary for a good life, but we know that it can be difficult to meet new people. In uKirke there is room for everyone, and you never have to be or look a certain way. Together, we work to create an open space where there is room for everyone to get involved in their own way and participate lovingly in each other’s lives – no matter how different we are. You are welcome, regardless of whether you believe in a religion, yourself or something else. In uKirke, we use Christianity and faith to open up questions – not to answer them.
